The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community provides a number of services to Native Americans living in Scott County who are enrolled in any federally recognized Indian Tribe.

Health and Dental Clinic
The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community provides a health and dental clinic which provides free services to members, staff, and Native Americans living in Scott County, Minnesota, where the Community is located. The Shakopee Dakota Clinic can perform x-rays, set broken bones, stitch wounds, give physical examinations, and more. The clinic offers a variety of services and screenings, immunizations, an urgent care practice, flu shots, Diabetes Education, Men's and Women's Health Days, blood work, and Occupational Health Care.

Pharmacy
The SMSC Pharmacy is available for use by Native Americans who live in Scott County who receive medical services at the Shakopee Dakota Clinic.

Mental Health Care
The SMSC NETWORKS Employee Assistance and Mental Health programs provide mental health care, employee assistance, smoking cessation classes, support groups, counseling, referral, and chemical dependency services. In cooperation with the Health Department, a Mental Health Medication Management clinic is also available.

Social Services
The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Children and Family Services Department provides information, referral, case management, parenting education, support groups, a child care subsidy program, home visits, a car seat loaner program, prenatal and new baby information packets, a Giving Tree program, and emergency gas vouchers to Native Americans living in Scott County.

Education
To encourage youth to pursue their educational goals, the SMSC Education Department offers some programs for Scott County Native Americans. Through the Johnson O'Malley Program some school supplies are provided. Higher Education Grants are also available to qualified students.
