Dakotah! Sport and Fitness To Host Turkey Trot 5K

Golf Course is Site for Annual Event

Prior Lake, Minnesota - On Saturday, November 21, 2009, Dakotah! Sport and Fitness will sponsor their annual Turkey Trot 5K. The 3.1 mile event will start at Dakotah! and wind through The Meadows at Mystic Lake, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community golf course. Hosting the event on the golf course provides beautiful scenery and a challenging race venue.

Registration is $25 by November 8, 2009. Participants can register online at www.active.com, by downloading the brochure at www.dakotahsport.com, or picking up a brochure at Dakotah!. Online registration will not be accepted after November 8, 2009. Registration after November 8, 2009, is available only at Dakotah! Sport and Fitness.

Race day registration is 7:00 - 8:00 a.m., and the 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. The awards ceremony will follow. All registered runners will receive a t-shirt, though participants must be registered by November 8th to guarantee t-shirt size. Awards will be given to first, second, and third place overall male and female finishers.
