Course History
-
The property now known as The Meadows at Mystic Lake started as a nine-hole course in 1974 under the name of Country Hills.
-
In 1980 it was purchased by Don and Betty McKush.
-
In 1985 it grew to 18 holes and was renamed Lone Pine Golf Course.
-
Then on February 5, 2002, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community purchased the course.
-
In the fall of 2003 the course was closed for extensive renovation and redesign. During that time the course was lengthened considerably and continuous cart paths and numerous water features were added. Many of the existing trees were utilized, and hundreds more added. A new clubhouse and driving range were built.
-
Opened for play as The Meadows at Mystic Lake on Monday, August 22, 2005.
